Beachwatch Beach Clean and Litter Survey Programme

Beachwatch Beach Clean and Litter Survey Programme

Led by the Marine Conservation Society, the UK charity for the protection of our seas, shores and wildlife, Beachwatch events take place year round on beaches around the UK. Beach cleaning is a great way to get children learning outside of the classroom, connecting with their local environment and experiencing the issue of marine litter, particularly plastic pollution, first hand. We provide all the resources you need for a fun day out at the beach as well as follow up resources you can take back to school. To find your nearest beach clean, get more information about the programme or download resources to help you organise your own beach clean, visit www.mcsuk.org/beachwatch.
