Pear Tree is a working family farm just 7 miles from the historic city of York, in the quiet village of Harton .
School and Nursery visits are available by prior arrangement. There is currently no cost for these visits. Staff pre-visits are required to help ensure you get the most from your day.
Visits can be adapted to suit your school but include a guided tour of the farm where you will meet the cattle and lambs, collect eggs and exploring the farm machinery (tractors and combine harvester.) A range of other activities are also available including wildlife hunts and arts and crafts using natural materials.
Toilets, hand washing facilities, convenient coach pick up and drop off, and undercover classroom are all available on site.
