Farmlink at Mercer Farming

We run on-farm educational tours primarily for primary schools, with some access for secondary schools. We also go into schools in the winter months. We inspire children to learn about farming, food production, environment, solar energy and conservation whilst also learning some of their key curriculum. We have a big woodland with trails, livestock, arable fields, covered teaching and lunch areas, toilets and each group is driven up on the trailer to the dedicated site away from the busy farmyard. We have been running the project for five years and see nearly 5000 children a year. We can tailor our tours and talks to current school topics or learning. Please do enquire for more details.
