Harris Farm Meats is a small Scottish farm in the shire of Clydesdale. We have small numbers of very rare bred pigs and the very best quality Boer Goats and Scottish grass fed ewes and lambs. Run by Ruth and her young children, animal numbers are deliberately kept low to maintain individual ethical care and the very highest animal welfare.
We promote a natural lifestyle, slow maturing and operate a rare breed educational and breeding program. Animals have access to grass, insulated shelter and natural forage, they are not ever force-fed, and have a diet of grass, natural grain, lunch hay and treats of apples, pears and carrots. We welcome visitors to see how animals should be cared for and where artisan traditional food comes from.
