The Garden Classroom (TGC) delivers high quality outdoor learning and activities in natural environments across London, Kent and Sussex. From countryside visits to woodlands and forests and hop picking themed immersive farm experiences to Meet the Organic Farmer programmes we are here to also design outdoor experiences to meet you needs.
Our focus is on improving mental health, wellbeing and personal development keeping the experience for the child central to all our activities.

We work with farmers and landowners to use their facilities so our focus is on being outdoors at all times. Footpaths are used and we can signpost schools to hire all terrain wheelchairs if required. One of our sites has a wheelchair accessible WC. There are hand washing facilities at all sites.
Pricing
From £300 per day for a school hour day (we also offer extended days for a longer experience). Our residentials start at £100 per class for a minimum of 25 pupils and 3 accompanying adults including the class teacher (important).

TGC specialises in designing programmes to suit school groups specific needs and requirements. We are led by a high quality child centred approach and we focus on mental health and wellbeing and personal development at the heart of all our programmes.
