Gutchpool Farm

Gutchpool is a 140 acre family farm in the Blackmore Vale area of North Dorset. We farm regeneratively, meaning no disturbance of the soil and always with a good ground cover, with deep rooting plants for our flock of native Dorset sheep who we 'mob graze' in the summer months. We process the sheep's wool and have their skins tanned, products that we sell as well as 100% pasture fed lamb. Biodiversity is key for us and there is much wildlife, both flora and fauna on the farm. We have the remnants of the park pale still visible, which was the boundary of the mediaeval Gillingham Royal Forest used for deer hunting.
