Rutland Outdoor Education Centre

We are based on a working farm in rural Rutland where we combine outstanding outdoor teaching and learning with day-to-day life on the farm.
Within our team of staff, we have nearly 20 years’ experience of farming and over 15 years’ experience in delivering outdoor education in the local area. We aim to offer amazing learning experiences to all ages, from our pre-school aged children all the way up to our adult groups and everyone in between!
Our outdoor education programmes combine our Forest school with its own FS principles along with bushcraft, outdoor cooking, caring for, feeding and learning about our animals as well as learning about what life is like on a farm in the 21st Century. We also offer DofE training and expeditions too!
