Facilities include a varied outdoor learning space with woodlands and wetlands, an indoor classroom, toilets, pond dipping areas, birdwatching hides, and woodland and wetland trails.

Each programme is designed to last two hours. Sessions run from 10am to 12pm and then 12.30 to 2.30pm. Two programmes can be combined to make a whole day visit.
