Gowbarrow Hall Farm

We are an upland livestock farm on the shores of Ullswater in the Lake District. We have a herd of native breed shorthorn cattle, Cumbrian fell ponies and kune kune pigs.
We practice regenerative farming with our livestock, which includes:
- No feed or fertiliser inputs
- 100% grass fed – we are Pasture for Life certified
- Certified Organic
- Cattle are mob grazed with electric fencing in April to November
- All livestock are outside all year round and in winter are on an area that has been rested throughout the growing season.

We also have a small market garden growing vegetables.
We are open to hosting both primary and secondary school groups and are open to discuss with the teachers on what topics they'd like to cover.
