We have a range of animals from Highland cows, several breeds of sheep, alpacas, pigs, geese and chicken. I am also a qualified teacher, but now a farmer.

We will soon have toilets (and disabled) and a classroom with some kitchen facilities. Quite a lot of the site is wheelchair friendly

What we can offer

  • Working with livestock (e.g. feeding, milking, egg collecting, daily maintenance, grooming (where appropriate))

We can teach pupils about farming and the countryside - we may only have livestock, but have some experience in crops.

CEVAS stands for Countryside Educational Visits Accreditation Scheme. A nationally recognised accreditation, the scheme offers training for individuals who are working – or plan to work – with groups of school children, young people or clients with additional needs.
