Binley Farm

We are a working arable farm, with a focus on food production, conservation, sustainability and biodiversity. It spans 450 acres of which 50 acres are woodland, 300 acres arable and 100 acres environmental crops. We grow oats for Jordans cereals, wheat for milling into flour, oil seed rape for cooking oil and barley for malting into beer. We also grow maize and rye for Apsley biodigester to create gas for energy. Additionally we manage environmental plots for birds such as the stone curlew, yellowhammer, skylarks, linnets as well as moths, butterflies and numerous insects. We take pride in our land and aim to manage it with sustainability in mind.
Caroline is the farm partner but is also a qualified secondary school teacher and so is ready to tailor the day to your curriculum needs.
We are experienced with school visits and offer a range of farm-based activities to all ages, including Geography A level students. We look forward to welcoming you.
