We have established some amazing learning areas on our 59 hectare farm to improve biodiversity, ecosystems and sustainable resource production within our rural landscape include:

+ 1km of recently planted hedgerows for wildlife and pollinator corridors – connecting our woodland to our agroforestry and for carbon sequestration and stock proofing
+ fruit & willow agroforestry demonstration, including heritage fruit varieties planted in flower rich strips for pollinators
+ woodland planted with native, broadleaf trees
+ grass fields including species rich herbal leys to improve soil health and livestock diets
+ deep rooted grass trials to reduce flooding, improve water quality and carbon storage
+ ponds and scrapes providing wetland habitat for wildlife
+ seed crops for winter birds and flower rich areas for pollinators
+ a small flock of rare breed Wiltshire Horn Sheep
+ Photovoltaic electricity generation and 100% renewable electricity use
