Topics include: Garden planning and skills, literacy, numeracy and science in the garden, gardening risk assessment, curriculum links for EYFS, KS1 and KS2, crop sheets and sowing guides, composting and creating wildlife habitats.

The resources were developed by the Open Futures programme, an education initiative created by the Helen Hamlyn Trust, which ran from 2005-2017 working with over 80,000 pupils at 164 schools throughout England. All the teaching resources developed for the programme are now available as free downloads - just go to the website and scroll down to the resources section.
