Introduction to #FarmingFortnight2024

During Farming Fortnight, you have the opportunity to positively engage your pupils in discussions and activities that focus on British farming and food production. You can even find out more about British farming and ‘farming with nature’ by visiting a host farmer on Open Farm Sunday - 9th June 2024!
Each day has a farming theme with an accompanying social media hashtag giving you the option to share your pupils’ learning experiences with others and to see what else is happening in schools and on-farm across the UK. Download a range of engaging resources and materials to explore different farming sectors and deliver inspiring lessons around food and farming.
