Animal husbandry - Sustainable Farming

Farming Fortnight is an annual LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming) initiative, connecting young people with more sustainable farming & food production.

This resource will enable teachers and educators to explore 3 key questions about livestock:
What is animal husbandry?
Why is it important for farmers to look after their animals well?
How do livestock farms work towards being more sustainable?

Teacher Note: select the most appropriate activity for your pupils depending on prior knowledge and / or age.
e.g. Instructions (KS2-KS3), Make it simpler (EYFS-KS1), Make it harder( KS3-KS5)
