The Centre is twelve miles south of Chester, in the tiny village of Beeston, less than half a mile from the Castle. It is surrounded by farm and woodland. Within an hour and a half walk are the Shropshire Union Canal, Bunbury Water Mill (working), the Candle Factory in Burwardsley, Peckforton Woods and lots more. The site itself has play and work areas, gardens to look at and different habitats to study.
