We are a working Care Farm two miles from Carlisle providing opportunities for learning and practical work experience. We are a registered charity.
OUR VISION is that people’s lives are transformed by working together in purposeful outdoor activity so they can reach their full potential.
Our activities focus on:
-Educational Visits for school and community groups
-Therapeutic Working for those with long term mental health support needs
-Alternative Provision for those who need a different learning environment

Pricing

Our pricing varies depending on the needs of the individual and the type of provision. However, an average Alternative Provision cost is £75 per person per day and a 3 hours school group visit is £100 +VAT (we currently have some free educational visits available) – please contact us to discuss your needs.

  • Small animal care (e.g. grooming, feeding, handling etc.)
  • Working with livestock (e.g. feeding, milking, egg collecting, daily maintenance, grooming (where appropriate))

Care Farm

Care Farms provide supervised, structured educational programmes of farming related activities for young people to support those struggling in school, help those with disability, behavioural challenges and improve mental health and wellbeing.
