Applecast

Apple Cast is a registered charity – number 1123401,-dedicated to providing a specialist educational facility for children and young people with special educational needs, adults with additional needs and therapeutic support for people with mental health issues, or learning disabilities. We use the outdoors, the natural environment, animal care, indoor fishing or horticulture as the basis for supporting education, well-being and improvement in behaviour or health. We also run a visitors centre which allows referrals to develop social and communication skills
On site facilities include –indoor and outdoor fishing, horticulture, animal husbandry, construction and environmental conservation.

Care Farm

Are you a teacher and know a child with SEND? They could benefit from accessing a Care Farm.

Care Farms provide supervised, structured educational programmes of farming related activities for young people to support those struggling in school, help those with disability, behavioural challenges and improve mental health and wellbeing.
