As well as sessions delivered in schools, Sc.out.ed, working in partnership with Durham University at Durham Botanic Gardens & Northumberland College at Kirkley Hall, deliver Forest Schools sessions in their mature woodlands.
Sc.out.ed can also offer PPA cover and deliver bespoke Professional Development.
Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checked and all activities are fully risk assessed and insured.

Costs for ‘in-school’ sessions & Beach School: Costs for Botanic Gardens & Kirkley Hall:
£220 - full day £160 + £1.50 per pupil entry fee - full day
Costs for The Stone Age & Stone Age Cooking / Bush Craft & Back Woods Cooking / World War 2 (2 staff):
£350 - full day
(All costs based on one class or approximately 30 children)

Type of support

Sc.out.ed can support you to deliver hands-on science and outdoor education lessons that will engage and inspire pupils’ learning and widen knowledge and understanding. The activities offer first hand experiences that can be used as a stimulus for further work.
Sessions are closely linked to the National Curriculum programmes of study.
