With World Earth Day approaching on the 22nd April why not use this wonderful range of resources to raise awareness about taking action to save the planet?

Ages 4 - 6

  • Use this Global Goals Assembly Pack and the fun Earth Cubs characters to bring the Sustainable Development Goals to life.
  • This Climate Change resource pack all about the causes and consequences of climate change is one of five topics available in the Global Farming series for primary school aged children produced by LEAF Education.
  • Children will learn about why hedgerows are so important and how they help the environment with this ‘Hedgerow Detective’ resource with these easy-to-follow KS1 lesson plans and worksheets.

Ages 7 - 11

  • Order class sets of our amazing Countryside Classroom Passport which has three exciting sections all about food, farming and the environment, send in photos of the completed work to receive certificates of achievement for your learners.
  • Find out how to achieve a Climate Action Award with this brilliant initiative provided by our partners One Seed Forward and Garden Organic.
  • Find out how climate change may affect what we grow, with this Guided Exploration aimed at KS2/3 students, use the series of questions with suggested websites to investigate the answers.

Ages 11 - 16

  • Find out why Wales is one of the most sustainable places to produce red meat with this brilliant Sustainable Farming resource hub produced by Hybu Cig Cymru all about how farmers work in harmony with the environment.
  • Farmers play an important role by using nature to mitigate climate change. This Delivering Nature Based Farming Solutions to the Climate Challenge booklet outlines a number of case studies of farmers and the strategies they are using to help meet net zero.
  • Find out how to be a Conscious Consumer with these brilliant booklets produced by the Food and Farming Discovery Trust in collaboration with LEAF Education,  Part 1 is all about food miles and plant based diets whereas Part 2 is all about climate change animal welfare and rewilding.
