Field barn Farm is one of over 15 farms that took part in a North Wessex Downs FiPL funded project enabling them to take part in training and receive support to open up their farm to school groups.

This inspiring case study demonstrates the detailed knowledge, skills and understanding farmers have of food and nutrition. Find out also how farmer Kate helped students discover how rearing healthy sheep and beef cattle can be done in harmony with the environment and how to reduce food waste by using all parts of the animal.
