The Country Trust

Work mainly with primary schools in deprived areas. Organise hands-on visits to working farms and rural estates so children can learn how and where their food is produced and meet farmers and others who live and work in the countryside. Also year-long food discovery projects where children and parents/helpers learn to cook, grow veg and herbs, run a playground market, explore local farms and share a harvest celebration. Countryside residentials are held in Norfolk, Suffolk and West Yorkshire.
